Gulf of Mexico and Other Meaningful Words
DESCRIPTION:
This series is about a partial list of the words, terms and phrases that the 47th president of the United States and his federal government have “disappeared” from official and unofficial memos, websites and documents. He found them too woke or without merit. Yet, I think they have a place in our conversation. . .they are a mirror of what is going on in our country and world. If they make you uncomfortable, find out more . . . they are words with people, science, culture, and history supporting them. They represent important issues and rights. Go to the Series page to see the list
Dot Bracelet
Dots from the Gulf of Mexico series are charcoal from the words applied to the clay slab and yellow, forest green and lavender. Choose from the following bracelet combinations:
Yellow Dot on olive paracord
Forest Green Dot on copper paracord
Lavender Dot on maroon paracord
Nylon paracord with a one-of-a-kind ceramic dot.
Bracelets are hand-knotted and adjustable, and we offer them in small/medium, medium/large and extra large to get the best fit. Measure across your four knuckles (not your thumb): small/medium fits 3.25 inches across or less, medium/large fits 3.25 to 4 inches across and extra large for more than 4 inches across.
Bracelets are meant for daily wear and don’t mind getting wet and being a part of your active life.
Let your dot spark a conversation, inspire a call to action, and just be a cool little piece of art.
Each Dot Bracelet is individually wrapped in a thoughtful little package that includes a zine about our project
Purchase four Dot Bracelets and we’ll gift a fifth Dot Bracelet, artist’s choice
Wear it, give it to a friend or share it with a stranger. Thank you for connecting with us, happy you are here!
